Janet graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She first encountered the realm of physiotherapy when a family member was experiencing mobility problems.

She has always admired how physiotherapy integrates physical activity into the rehabilitation process. Janet uses manual therapy as part of her treatment plan, with a focus on exercise and education. Janet believes it is important that she learns about each patient’s particular experiences so that she can develop an individualized care plan that is appropriate for their injury, fitness level, and lifestyle.

Janet loves developing relationships with patients and delivering one-on-one care. When Janet is not at the clinic, she is working in a hospital setting delivering physiotherapy services to acute care patients. Janet enjoys volleyball, weightlifting, snowboarding, and golfing while she is not at work. She enjoys dining out as a way to experience new cultures and she is always on the lookout for new culinary recommendations!
